Full Job Description

SUMMARY

4 days on-site at NYC office. Salary up to 135 000 USD Gross+ commision based on KPI's.

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking an experienced and driven Director of Account Management / Sales to lead strategic growth initiatives, strengthen partner relationships, and drive revenue performance within the telecommunications industry. This role will oversee key account management functions while developing and executing sales strategies focused on expanding market share, improving partner engagement, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader with telecom industry experience, proven sales success, and the ability to manage high-level partnerships across multiple channels and regions.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Leadership & Growth

Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
Identify new business opportunities and expand existing partner relationships.
Drive sales performance across assigned accounts, regions, or dealer networks.
Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
Collaborate with executive leadership on forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.

Account Management:

Serve as the senior point of contact for key accounts and strategic partners.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with dealers, distributors, and enterprise clients.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, retention, and account performance.
Conduct regular business reviews with partners to evaluate KPIs and growth opportunities.
Resolve escalated partner or customer issues in a timely and professional manner.

Team Leadership:

Lead, mentor, and develop account management and sales teams.
Establish performance expectations and monitor KPI achievement.
Create a culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Support recruiting, onboarding, and training initiatives for team members.

Operational & Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with operations, marketing, finance, and product teams to support sales initiatives.
Assist in product launches, promotional planning, and operational rollouts.
Provide leadership during large-scale initiatives, deployments, and strategic programs.
Maintain accurate reporting on sales pipeline, account performance, and revenue metrics.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or related field preferred.
5+ years of leadership experience in telecommunications sales and account management.
Strong understanding of wireless, prepaid, retail, dealer, or distribution channels.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
Experience managing large accounts, partner relationships, and multi-region operations.
Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
Proficiency in CRM systems, sales reporting, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to travel as needed.

Preferred Experience:

Experience working with wireless carriers, prepaid brands, or telecom distribution partners.
Knowledge of retail operations and dealer support structures.
Experience leading launch initiatives, sales rollouts, or regional programs.
