Full Job Description

The QC Tech performs laboratory testing to determine chemical and physical characteristics of product for quality control, process control, and product development.

Working Safely is Priority.
Performs all necessary quality testing as assigned.
Follows work instructions regarding testing, reporting, non-conforming product, etc.
Enters data and test results into database daily and into excel spreadsheets as needed.
Communicates regularly with Quality Manager on any changes to test results, abnormal results, testing issues, etc.
Calibration of all QC lab equipment.
Follow safety and environmental guidelines.
Maintain lab equipment and cleanliness.

High school diploma or GED, preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong computer and basic software skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to follow complex instructions and procedures.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work a flexible schedule when needed.
High commitment to safety and quality standards.
Experience in manufacturing or mining environments.
Ability to climb stairs and ladders and work on elevated platforms.
