The Business Office Coordinator is responsible for Community accounting functions including monthly resident and Medicaid billing; processing cash receipts; collection of accounts receivable and participation in monthly collection calls; receipt, process, and coding of vendor invoices; communication of entrance fee contracts to Home Office to ensure accuracy and completeness of accounting; and assisting with tracking and reconciliation of all capital expenditures. This position also runs the administrative area and assists residents with their billing questions. The ideal candidate for this role must have a friendly customer service approach and reflect the value that the resident comes first. They value the Community as the residents’ home and works to create attributes of home, modeling person-centered care.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR TRAINING:
• Associate's degree in accounting and/or one year of experience as a business office manager is preferred.
• Experience in healthcare and Medicare/Medicaid billing preferred.
