Part-Time Housekeeper

River City Inn – Parsons, WV

River City Inn is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Part-Time Housekeeper to join our team. We are a small, locally owned motel and take pride in providing our guests with exceptionally clean, comfortable rooms.

This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys working independently, takes pride in their work, and can stay on task without constant supervision.

Responsibilities

Clean and prepare guest rooms between stays
Make beds and replace linens and towels
Thoroughly clean and sanitize bathrooms
Dust, vacuum, mop, and clean room surfaces
Restock guest room supplies
Clean designated common areas as needed
Identify and report maintenance issues or damaged/missing items
Follow our cleaning standards and room checklists
Work efficiently to ensure rooms are ready for arriving guests

What We’re Looking For

Dependable and punctual
Strong attention to detail
Able to work independently and manage time well
Takes initiative and notices what needs to be done
Friendly, professional, and trustworthy
Housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
Weekend availability is required
Schedule flexibility is important, as hours may vary based on occupancy and guest checkouts

About the Position

This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule. Because we are a motel, the number of rooms and hours can vary from day to day. Applicants should be comfortable with a schedule that changes somewhat based on business needs.

We are a small team and are looking for someone who wants to be a reliable part of it. If you are hardworking, self-motivated, and genuinely care about doing a job well, we’d love to hear from you.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
