Full Job Description

Position Overview

OVENTE is a Los Angeles–based kitchen appliance and housewares brand hiring multiple full-time E-Commerce Directors to manage and optimize our overall e-commerce sales strategy. This role carries a strong Amazon background requirement, with additional emphasis on Walmart, Home Depot, Macy's, and other omni-channel retail platforms. We're looking for results-driven professionals who have owned a significant sales portfolio — ideally within kitchen appliances, small appliances, housewares, or a related consumer goods category — and can take an e-commerce strategy from concept through performance tracking.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Planning and Execution

Develop and implement comprehensive e-commerce sales strategies, from concept to execution to performance tracking, to achieve revenue targets. Analyze market trends and competitor activity across Amazon and other marketplaces to identify opportunities for growth.

Amazon Vendor Central Management

Own all aspects of our Amazon Vendor Central account, including product listings, pricing strategy, co-op and chargeback management, inventory and PO management, and vendor scorecard performance. Optimize product visibility and sales performance through Amazon SEO, A+ Content, Brand Registry, and advertising campaigns (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, DSP). Manage relationships with Amazon vendor managers and navigate Vendor Central operational issues (routing guide compliance, deductions, retail readiness).

Omni-Channel Platform Management

Manage and grow accounts across Walmart, Home Depot, Macy's, and other omni-channel retail platforms, adapting strategy to each platform's requirements, advertising tools, and vendor relationships.

Digital Marketing and Sales Optimization

Lead SEO, SEM, and PPC advertising efforts across platforms to drive traffic, conversion, and sales growth. Stay current on online retail trends and apply them to improve platform performance.

Sales and Inventory Forecasting

Own sales and inventory forecasting, demand planning, and stock optimization to ensure product availability while minimizing excess inventory and stockouts.

Team Leadership and Development

Lead and mentor cross-functional teams and vendor partners, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals. Foster a collaborative, data-driven, and innovative work environment.

Sales Performance and Reporting

Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics — including Amazon-specific KPIs such as glance views, conversion rate, TACoS, and sell-through — providing regular reports to senior management. Leverage data and analytics to identify and address areas for improvement to maximize sales and profitability.

Customer Experience and Satisfaction

Ensure a seamless, positive customer experience across all e-commerce platforms. Address customer inquiries and issues promptly and effectively.

Collaboration and Coordination

Work closely with marketing, product development, and logistics teams to align e-commerce strategy with overall business objectives. Coordinate with external partners, agencies, and vendors — including Amazon account teams — to enhance e-commerce operations.

Qualifications:

Strong, hands-on Amazon experience is required — 5+ years of e-commerce sales experience with substantial, direct experience managing Amazon Vendor Central at scale.
Proven track record with a sales portfolio of $1M+ (depending on SKU assortment).
Demonstrated success developing and executing e-commerce strategies from concept to performance tracking.
Deep understanding of digital marketing, including SEO/SEM/PPC and current trends in online retail.
Skilled in leveraging data and analytics to drive decisions.
Proficient in sales and inventory forecasting, demand planning, and stock optimization.
Strong communication and leadership skills; able to collaborate across departments and manage cross-functional teams and vendor partners.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

Experience with additional e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, eBay, and Walmart Marketplace.
Knowledge of supply chain and inventory management.
Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems.
Prior experience working directly at Amazon (e.g., in a vendor management, retail, or category role) or at a brand managing a high-volume Amazon Vendor Central account.
