Field Leasing Agent

Location: Los Angeles, CA (in person; mix of field and office) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $23-$28/hour

About the Role

We're a growing property management company operating multifamily residential buildings across Los Angeles, from Silver Lake and Echo Park to Mid City, Koreatown, Culver City, and Brentwood. We're looking for a motivated, people-first Field Leasing Agent who can lease our units, run clean move-ins and move-outs, and keep our residents and properties well taken care of.

This role is primarily field-based, so you'll spend a good part of your week out at our buildings, with time in the office as well. If you know LA, enjoy working with people, and can handle both the sales side and the operations side without letting things slip, we want to talk to you.

What You'll Do

Leasing & Sales

Show available units and sell prospects on the features, amenities, and neighborhood
Guide applicants through the leasing process, from application to signed lease and collected documents
Respond to prospect and resident inquiries quickly and professionally
Use your knowledge of LA neighborhoods to match people to the right unit
Hit leasing goals in partnership with the property management team

Move-Ins & Move-Outs

Run thorough move-in and move-out walkthroughs and document unit condition with photos and notes
Coordinate turnovers with maintenance and cleaning vendors so units are ready on time
Verify repairs are completed before handing over keys
Keep accurate records of appliances, unit accessories, and related paperwork

Day-to-Day Operations

Work with property managers to keep buildings in top condition
Handle resident concerns and maintenance requests, and confirm they get resolved
Defuse complaints and conflicts calmly and professionally
Keep clean, accurate records of leasing activity and resident interactions

What We're Looking For

At least 1 year of property leasing experience (required)
Strong sales and customer service instincts
Bilingual English/Spanish (strongly preferred)
Working knowledge of lease agreements and leasing/legal requirements
Comfort with Microsoft Office; experience with Yardi Voyager is a big plus
Familiarity with Section 8 / HCV program rules is a plus
A valid driver's license and reliable transportation for daily property visits (required)
Must live in or near Los Angeles and be able to reliably commute across the city
Flexibility to work weekends to meet prospects' schedules
