Licensed Couples Therapist (LMFT, LMFT Associate, LPC, LCSW)

TherapyWorks – Marriage and Family Therapy Center is a boutique private-pay group practice located in Clear Lake, just minutes from NASA. We specialize in couples therapy, as well as individual and family therapy, and are looking for a warm, compassionate therapist who is passionate about providing high-quality care and values working in a collaborative team environment.

Couples therapy is a significant focus of our practice, and a substantial portion of our referrals are couples seeking support with communication, conflict resolution, intimacy, betrayal recovery, and strengthening their relationships. We are seeking clinicians who genuinely enjoy working with couples and have prior experience providing couples therapy.

We welcome both fully licensed clinicians and LMFT Associates who are passionate about couples work and committed to growing their clinical skills in this area.

Qualifications

Active Texas license as an LMFT, LMFT Associate, LPC, or LCSW
Experience providing couples therapy is required, as couples make up a significant portion of our caseload.
Passion for working with individuals, couples, and families
Strong communication and documentation skills
Professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)
Evening or Saturday availability is a plus
Training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), the Gottman Method, or other evidence-based couples therapy models is strongly preferred.
A desire to continue growing your clinical skills in working with couples and relationships

Compensation

This is a 1099 independent contractor position with competitive per-session compensation:

LMFT Associates: $75–$85 per completed clinical session

Licensed Therapists (LMFT, LPC, LCSW): $90–$105 per completed clinical session

Please note: The hourly pay displayed on Indeed is provided to meet Indeed's posting requirements. Compensation for this position is based on completed clinical sessions, not hourly wages.

Compensation is based on licensure, experience, training, and the type of services provided.
