Marketing Manager – Home Medical Equipment Retail (Houston, TX)

The MedEquip Shop is a Houston-based home medical equipment retailer serving homeowners and families who need mobility, bathroom safety, and daily-living equipment — plus a growing hospice rental division. We're building the in-house marketing engine to drive growth.

Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and strategic Marketing Manager to lead our dynamic marketing team and drive impactful campaigns that elevate brand awareness and accelerate business growth. In this role, you will develop innovative marketing strategies, oversee digital marketing initiatives, and analyze performance metrics to optimize results. Your expertise in digital tools, content creation, and campaign management will be crucial in delivering compelling messaging across multiple channels. Join us to shape the future of our brand through creative, data-driven marketing efforts that inspire engagement and foster customer loyalty.

Duties

Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with company goals, focusing on digital channels such as social media, email, SEM (Search Engine Marketing), and paid advertising campaigns.
Manage and optimize paid advertising campaigns across platforms like Google Ads, Facebook Advertising, and other social media advertising channels to maximize ROI.
Oversee website management using content management systems like WordPress and ensure website content is engaging, SEO-optimized, and user-friendly.
Conduct keyword research and utilize SEO tools to improve organic search rankings and increase web traffic through effective SEO practices.
Implement conversion optimization techniques by analyzing user behavior with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to enhance campaign performance.
Coordinate content creation efforts including graphic design using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and content management systems to produce compelling visual and written materials.
Monitor campaign performance through detailed web analytics reporting, adjusting strategies based on data insights to improve engagement and conversion rates.
Lead marketing automation initiatives to streamline workflows, nurture leads, and improve overall campaign efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent brand messaging across all digital platforms while managing social media marketing campaigns that increase followers and engagement.
Stay current with industry trends in digital marketing, SEM, paid search marketing, and performance marketing to implement innovative tactics that keep the brand ahead of competitors.

Qualifications

Proven experience in digital marketing management with a strong understanding of SEO tools, content creation, paid advertising campaign management, and web analytics reporting.
Technical proficiency in website management platforms such as WordPress; familiarity with HTML, CSS, and website optimization techniques is preferred.
Hands-on experience with Google Ads (Google AdWords), Facebook Advertising, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and marketing automation tools.
Strong graphic design skills using Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Creative Suite; ability to create visually appealing content is essential.
Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and online sales strategies is a plus.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets into actionable insights for campaign improvement.
Effective communication skills for collaborating with teams across departments and presenting performance reports clearly.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field; relevant certifications in digital marketing are advantageous.
