Full Job Description

We are a large veterinary hospital and see cats, dogs, small mammals, avian, reptiles and exotics. We see first opinion and referral patients.

As first point of client contact you will be responsible for greeting clients, answering telephones and scheduling appointments for a Multi- Doctor practice. You will also be responsible for:

Checking clients in and out of the hospital, boarding, grooming.

Managing client financial transactions and cash handling.

Assisting clients with Care Credit or Scratchpay applications.

Managing reminders for routine wellness and discussing pet wellness recommendations with clients.

Liaising with veterinary staff.

This is a very fast paced office and heavy on phones. Multi-tasking and time management skills are essential for success in this position.

Require excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Bilingual in English and Spanish would be a benefit but not essential.

You will receive training in specific computer programs but experience of veterinary software would be an advantage.

Veterinary or Medical office reception experience preferred

The clinic is open 7 days a week 6am to 8pm and ability to work all shifts is mandatory, especially evenings and weekends.

Professional appearance required (no visible tattoos or piercings, hands, face or neck).

This is for a full time position only, no part time, no seasonal. No phone calls or walk ins please. All hiring communication will be done through Indeed.

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
