Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Game Master and Baker who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to our dynamic environment. This dual-role position involves not only running and resetting our escape games but also baking and serving exquisite pastries and coffee.
Responsibilities
- Run immersive escape room games for groups, ensuring an engaging and memorable experience.
- Reset games after sessions to maintain high-quality standards and prepare for the next group.
- Prepare and bake a variety of delicious pastries and desserts while maintaining consistency in quality.
- Serve coffee and assist customers at the front counter with our POS system.
- Demonstrate and uphold safe food handling practices and personal safety around industrial equipment at all times.
- Maintain proper cleanliness standards in both the baking area and gaming environments to ensure a safe and inviting space for our guests and fellow employees.
- Collaborate with the team to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Qualifications
- Previous game master/improv experience is a plus.
- Food service or bakery experience is a plus; barista experience is also desired.
- Home bakers and escape room enthusiasts are encouraged to apply!
- Must have or be willing to obtain a valid food handler's card.
- Detail-oriented and organized individuals are a must.
- Enthusiastic, energetic, and committed to spreading joy to our community.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and engaging environment.
- Ability to carry up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time.
