Trusts & Estates Attorney

Tully Rinckey PLLC

White Plains | Full-time

Associate Level – $120,000.00 - $140,000.00

Partner Level – $140,000.00 - $200,000.00

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Trusts & Estates Attorney to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is a motivated attorney with strong drafting skills, sound judgment, and a client-centered approach to practice.

Duties & Responsibilities:
In this role, you will provide comprehensive legal counsel to individuals and families across a broad range of estate planning and estate administration matters. You will:

· Advise clients on estate planning, probate, and trust administration matters

· Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, health care proxies, and related estate planning documents

· Represent clients in Surrogate’s Court proceedings and estate litigation matters

· Counsel clients on asset protection and long-term planning strategies

· Provide guidance on Medicaid planning and elder law matters (preferred)

· Develop and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and trusted advocacy

· Collaborate with attorneys across practice areas to provide comprehensive legal solutions

Senior Associate and Partner-level attorneys will also:

· Manage and grow an existing book of business

· Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to practice development initiatives

· Play an active role in expanding the firm’s Trusts & Estates presence in the Rochester market

Requirements:

· Minimum of 5 years of Trusts & Estates experience

· Experience advising clients on estate planning and probate matters

· Medicaid planning experience strongly preferred

· Strong drafting, litigation, and client communication skills

· Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

· Admitted and in good standing to practice in New York State

· Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment

· Demonstrated commitment to professionalism, ethics, and client service

· Senior Associate and Partner candidates must have an existing book of business

Compensation & Benefits:

· Performance-based bonuses of up to 60% of base salary

· 100% employer match on 401(k) contributions up to 6% for full-time employees.
