Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in social work and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality mental health services. This role involves working with diverse populations, addressing various mental health challenges. As an LSW, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals through crisis management, counseling, and resource coordination.

Duties

Provide individual therapy sessions to clients dealing with mental health issues, and other life challenges.
Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine client needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
Implement crisis intervention strategies to support clients in acute distress.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for clients.
Advocate for clients’ access to community resources.
Demonstrate knowledge of mental health disorders and treatment procedures
Demonstrate the ability to assess crisis situations and implement proper safety protocols
Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
Stay informed about healthcare policies and other relevant regulations affecting client care.
Collaborate with other service providers when necessary
Attend supervision as required
Attend interagency meetings as required

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
Current NJ state licensure as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW), or Associate Counselor (LAC).
One (1) year of experience in social case work, which shall have involved the responsibility for gathering and analyzing social information from clients, the determination of their needs, and the planning and administration of treatment plans geared toward the needs of individual clients.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
Knowledge of community resources and support systems available for clients.
