Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented X-ray Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray technology to assist in the evaluation and diagnosis of patients. This role requires a strong understanding of medical imaging techniques and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Duties

Perform X-ray scans and other diagnostic imaging procedures as directed by physicians.
Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort.
Operate X-ray equipment safely and effectively, adhering to established protocols and standards.
Maintain accurate records of patient scans, including images and related documentation.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
Assist in diagnostic evaluations by providing high-quality images for interpretation.

Requirements
Certification as an X-ray Technician or Radiologic Technologist is preferred.
Proficiency in medical imaging techniques, including diagnostic radiology
Familiarity with aseptic techniques and safety protocols in a clinical setting.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
