Join the MetaLINK Team!

Are you someone who enjoys helping people solve problems? Do you have an interest in technology and the ability to explain technical issues in a way customers can understand?

MetaLINK Technologies is looking for a Technical Support Specialist - Tier I to join our Technical Services team. In this role, you'll provide friendly, professional technical assistance to our customers and help them get the most out of their MetaLINK Internet products and services.

What You'll Do

Provide excellent customer service and professionalism to a wide range of customers.
Answer inbound calls from customers regarding MetaLINK products and services.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues through phone, email, and other electronic communication.
Configure customer equipment to connect to the Internet.
Help customers understand and use internet-related systems and applications.
Provide training and guidance to customers when needed.
Develop a general understanding of operating systems and applications related to MetaLINK's services.
Respond promptly to customer support emails, phone calls, and other electronic communications.
Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is:

Customer-focused and enjoys helping others.
Comfortable working independently and efficiently while meeting deadlines.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized.
Experienced with basic hardware and software troubleshooting.
Comfortable using Internet-related applications, including email clients, FTP clients, and web browsers.
A strong communicator with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Able to communicate technical information clearly and professionally.
Able to type approximately 40-60 words per minute.

Education & Experience

High school diploma and GED required.
One-year certificate from a college or technical school preferred, or
Three to six months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
