Position: Second Shift Area Supervisor

Salary Range: $46,800 - $60,000

Year-end bonus and commission opportunities

Hours: Full-Time/Hours: 2pm- 10 pm or 3pm – 11pm (flexible)

Position Overview:

We are looking to hire an Area Supervisor to join our team! The Area Supervisor will service areas in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Excellent customer service skills, ability to multi-task, and attention to detail needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Area Supervisor is responsible for directly supervising and coordinating work activities of the cleaning and maintenance teams, coaching and training team members, maximizing efficiency and consistency of custodial services and assisting with cleaning duties. The Area supervisor is a problem-solver who is comfortable with conflict resolution. Hours for the Manager may vary. The ideal candidate for a Martins Maintenance Area supervisor is a natural leader who demonstrates strong communication skills, morals, and ethics along with a commitment to quality and service.

Supervising, coaching, and training team members.
Develop rapport with the client contact and become the point of contact.
Plan and prepare team member work schedules.
Maintain accurate building/facility quality inspection records.
Promote a safe work environment.
Establishing and implementing Martins Maintenance’s operational standards
Investigate and resolve complaints about service, equipment, or staff.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

U.S. Citizen
Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
Must be able to speak English and Spanish or Portuguese
A valid driver’s license requires a clean driving record.
Hands on supervision, willing to work along side staff and train accordingly.
Shift hours could vary based on site needs; must be flexible and willing to work between 45-50 hours per week.
Strong leadership qualities
Team player
Ability to prioritize and multi-task.
Equivalent experience preferred.
