Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and dependable Process Server to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for delivering legal documents promptly and accurately, ensuring that service of process is completed efficiently and in compliance with all applicable laws. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help facilitate the smooth progression of legal proceedings, making a tangible difference in the justice process. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of legal support services, providing essential assistance to attorneys, courts, and clients alike.

Responsibilities

Effectively locate and serve legal documents such as subpoenas, summonses, complaints, and other court-related papers to individuals or entities.
Follow strict legal protocols and procedures to ensure proper service and documentation of each case.
Maintain detailed records of all service attempts, including dates, times, locations, and outcomes.
Use courier skills to deliver documents swiftly across designated areas while adhering to safety standards.
File completed service affidavits with courts or relevant authorities within required timeframes.
Communicate clearly with clients, attorneys, and court personnel regarding case status and service updates.
Conduct follow-up visits or calls as needed to ensure successful service completion.

Experience

Previous experience as a courier or in a delivery role is highly desirable, demonstrating reliability and punctuality.
Familiarity with filing procedures within legal or administrative settings is a plus.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills for interacting professionally with diverse individuals.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required; ability to navigate urban or rural areas efficiently.
Knowledge of local laws related to service of process is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided. Join us in delivering justice with energy and precision!
