Positions Available Immediately :

School Bus Driver with CDL Class B Air Brakes, School Bus, and Passenger Endorsement (or willing to obtain)

What we’re looking for:

Must be at least 25 years old or older
Basic English, Ability to read, speak and understand when speaking to dispatch, parents, students, school officials, and/or police.
Must have a driver license with no suspensions or revocations within the last three (3) years.
Must have a satisfactory driving record.
Ability to pass CORI and SORI background checks
Ability to pass pre employment Federal drug screening, including marijuana
Must have the ability to meet and maintain all requirements set forth by DOT|FMCSA, state, federal, and local agencies for compliance purposes in maintaining a school bus certificate and your level of licensure; CDL or 7D.
Ability to perform duties under varying weather conditions.
Must meet the requirements to attain and maintain a Department of Transportation (DOT) medical card. (with NO physical work restrictions)
Looking for confident drivers that are will and comfortable driving anywhere
Work hours are scheduled daily, per shift, to accommodate the changing demands of this business.
Excellent communication and safety skills
Passion for working with children and ensuring their safety

Job requirements and duties:

Safely operates a vehicle on an assigned route in transporting passengers to and from designated locations, as well as related activities, in a safe, timely manner.
Maintains a presentable appearance which includes being properly dressed according to company standards, neat grooming and good hygiene
Checking for students who did not disembark and/or lost items
Maintains, reads and understands route sheets including time changes and notifies proper channels immediately of any changes.
Maintains good work habits through timeliness and low absenteeism for daily assignments and extra trips.
Properly cares for the assigned vehicle and its component parts as prescribed by the company to ensure safety, minimize wear and to extend its useful life.
Keeps the vehicle clean and orderly with daily cleaning after each route operated.
Follow the correct beginning and end-of-shift procedures.
Follow all safety policies and procedures..
Must be able to work flexible hours. Your flexibility will directly determine our flexibility.
Operate 2-Way radio: check-in/check-out & communication procedures
Maintain safety standards per state, local and federal laws and company policies.
