Full Job Description

Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Licensed Childcare Administrator, LCCA, where you will lead and oversee the daily operations of a vibrant residential treatment home. This role is perfect for passionate professionals committed to fostering a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment for young children. As a licensed administrator, you will ensure the facility operates safely, therapeutically, and in strict compliance with state regulatory standards, while overseeing direct care staff, case management, and daily operational budgets.

Responsibilities

Ensure the facility maintains full compliance with state Health and Human Services (HHSC) and Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) Minimum Standards.
Serve as the primary liaison during state licensing inspections, internal audits, and corrective action plan implementations.
Ensure the program meets all grant, funding source, and contractual requirements if applicable
Ensure health, safety, and sanitation protocols are consistently followed to create a secure environment for children and staff.
Manage resource allocation, and staff scheduling.
Maintain accurate, confidential records regarding incident reports, resident progress, and medical/medication logs
Develop and maintain positive relationships with families, addressing concerns and communicating program updates effectively.
Oversee staff recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated team.

Skills

Excellent attention to detail.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team of educators.
Exceptional communication skills for engaging with children, parents, staff, and licensing authorities.
Knowledge of licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and quality assurance processes.
Ability to organize multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.

NOTE: LCCA (Licensed Childcare Administrator) is required
