Full Job Description

Job Description Summary

To complete monthly reconciliations of numerous bank accounts; process daily deposits from multiple County departments; and assists with keeping an accurate record of the County’s general ledger. In addition, this position assists with the real estate tax cycle including but not limited to payment collection, processing certificates of error, customer service and mobile home record maintenance.

Associates Degree from an accredited college. 1-2 years of previous accounting/bookkeeping experience demonstrating an aptitude for mathematics and attention to detail. Must have computer knowledge of MS Office software products with an emphasis on spreadsheets. Ability to work with the public, County Departments and elected officials is imperative. Real estate knowledge is helpful.
