Artistic Invasion is a full-service decorated apparel and promotional products company based in Anderson, Indiana. We specialize in screen printing, embroidery, laser engraving, signs and banners, and a full catalog of promotional products. We've been recognized as Inktavo Shop of the Year, Best of Madison County, and Best of Suburban Indy.
Our customer base ranges from walk-in retail clients to schools, businesses, sports teams, and large corporate accounts across Indiana and beyond. We're growing, and we're looking for an experienced Inside Sales Representative who knows our industry and can hit the ground running.
Position Overview
The Inside Sales Representative is the front line of our customer experience. You'll be the point of contact for walk-in customers as well as the dedicated account manager for our larger outside accounts. This role blends consultative selling with hands-on order management — you'll guide customers through decoration options, build accurate quotes, write up orders, and track jobs through production to delivery.
The differentiator: You won't be starting from scratch. We have an established book of accounts to hand off, plus consistent walk-in traffic — meaning real income from day one and room to grow your own book on top of it.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for walk-in customers, providing product recommendations, quotes, and order entry
- Manage and grow relationships with established outside accounts, including regular check-ins, reorders, and new opportunities
- Build accurate quotes across multiple decoration methods (screen printing, embroidery, DTF, laser engraving, signs and banners, promotional products)
- Source apparel and promotional products through ASI/ESP and supplier sites
- Write up complete production-ready orders with clear specs, art notes, and deadlines
- Track and maintain the progress of every job from order entry through production, decoration, and delivery
- Communicate proactively with customers on order status, art approvals, production timelines, and any issues
- Coordinate with art, production, and shipping teams to keep jobs moving and on schedule
- Resolve customer issues and concerns with professionalism and a solutions-first mindset
- Maintain organized records of customer accounts, quotes, and order history
Qualifications
- 1+ years of inside sales or account management experience in decorated apparel, promotional products, or a closely related industry
- Working knowledge of screen printing, embroidery, and other decoration methods, including limitations and best applications for each
- Familiarity with ASI/ESP and supplier sourcing platforms
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple jobs and deadlines simultaneously
- Comfortable with quoting, order entry, and basic math (markups, margins, quantity breaks)
- Proficient with email, spreadsheets, and order management software
- Customer-first attitude with the ability to handle walk-in traffic and high-value accounts equally well
Preferred Qualifications
- Existing book of business or established customer relationships in Indiana
- Experience with InkSoft, Inktavo, online merch stores, or company stores
- Background in art and production workflows (separations, mock-ups, art approvals)
- Knowledge of signs, banners, and large-format printing
Compensation Structure
We've built this comp plan to reward both account stewardship and new business growth:
- Base salary: $42,000–$48,000 depending on experience
- On-target earnings: $55,000–$65,000 for a rep hitting goals
- No recoverable draw — you'll have accounts producing from day one
