Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation and safety, particularly within the food service industry, to ensure that our clients receive nutritious meals tailored to their dietary needs. This role requires a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those under your care through attentive service and companionship.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and mobility.
Prepare and serve meals following food safety guidelines and dietary restrictions.
Maintain a clean and safe environment in the kitchen and dining areas.
Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations or activities.
Monitor clients' health and report any changes to family members or healthcare professionals.
Help with light housekeeping tasks as needed, ensuring a tidy living space for clients.
Support clients in following their prescribed routines, including medication reminders if necessary.

Requirements

Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
Knowledge of food safety practices and experience in food handling within the kitchen or restaurant setting is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with clients.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others are essential qualities for this role.
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting or assisting clients as needed.
A valid driver's license may be required depending on client needs.
Criminal background check required.
