Full Job Description

Topiary 219 specializes in luxury everyday flowers, weddings, corporate events, private events, sympathy flowers, and horticulture. We are looking for passionate, creative floral designers to join our growing team. If you enjoy working with premium blooms, creating custom floral designs, and bringing memorable events to life, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Design fresh floral arrangements for everyday occasions, weddings, corporate events, and community events.
Create bridal bouquets, centerpieces, ceremony florals, sympathy arrangements, and custom floral designs.
Assist the design team with seasonal collections, floral styling, and creative concepts.
Process, condition, and maintain fresh flowers and greenery using proper floral care techniques.
Prepare floral recipes and organize flowers for daily production.
Assist with wedding and event production, on-site installations, floral arches, hanging installations, large-scale floral displays, event set-up, and breakdown.
Provide exceptional customer service for walk-in customers and consultations.
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient floral design studio.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a retail flower shop, floral studio, or event floral design environment preferred.
Knowledge of flower varieties, floral mechanics, color theory, design principles, and garden-inspired floral design.
Experience with wedding flowers, event florals, luxury floral arrangements, and installation work is strongly preferred.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment while managing multiple projects.
Strong attention to detail, creativity, organization, and time management.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 30+ pounds.
Weekend availability is required.
A Floral Design Certificate or degree from an accredited floral design program is a plus.
