About the Role:

Woodland Building Supply is looking for a driven and knowledgeable Outside Sales Account Manager to join our team in Philadelphia, PA. This is an exciting opportunity to build lasting relationships with contractors, builders, and developers while selling a premium line of lumber, building materials, and millwork. If you thrive in the field and love turning prospects into loyal customers, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

Prospect for new contractor, builder, remodeler, developer, and commercial accounts
Visit active construction jobsites
Build relationships with project managers, superintendents, estimators, and purchasing managers
Generate and follow up on sales opportunities
Prepare material takeoffs and quotations with support from our Inside Sales team
Follow up on every quotation until a buying decision is made
Develop long-term customer relationships built on trust and service
Increase sales volume while maintaining profitable gross margins
Present new products and promotional opportunities
Coordinate deliveries and resolve customer concerns
Maintain accurate CRM records and weekly activity reports

Requirements:

3+ years of outside sales experience
Experience selling building materials, construction products, industrial products, roofing, drywall, millwork, windows & doors, or related products
Proven track record of developing new business
Strong negotiation and closing skills
Excellent communication skills
Valid U.S. Driver’s License
Ability to travel throughout the Philadelphia region

Preferred

Existing contractor relationships in the Philadelphia market
Experience with CRM software
Blueprint reading or estimating experience
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
