**This position will be onsite**

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Responsible for the management of the emergency management program for the health system training and exercise requirements. This includes but is not limited to identification of risks, hazards and vulnerabilities to the entities, review, testing and validation of emergency management and business continuity plans, leading all emergency management training and exercises and providing leadership, support and expertise to incident management. Validates plans, leads training programs to inform employees on the plans, and then conducts exercises to validate those plans. Recommends necessary updates to ensure plans are current, relevant, and readily accessible through development of after action reviews. Supports leadership in validating business continuity programs across divisions. Maintains and communicates situational information that enhances entity readiness and resilience.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in Emergency Management, Public Health Preparedness, Disaster Management, Safety & Health, or a related technical field required.

Four (4) years of related work experience required.

FEMA IS-100.c, IS-200.c, IS-700 and IS-800 training required.

FEMA ICS-300 and ICS-400 training required within 12 months of hire or transfer to role.

CPR/ AED within 6 months of employment required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):

Associate Business Continuity Professional (ABCP) or Associate Emergency Manager (AEM)/ Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) Certification preferred.

FEMA E/L/K 0146

Experience in design, development and implementation of drills and exercises using FEMA HSEEP standards.

Experience in development and delivery of emergency management training programs.

FEMA Master Exercise Practitioner (MEP) preferred.
