Full Job Description

Position Summary

Ecopax is seeking a highly responsive, operationally focused HR Operations Generalist to support the Easton facility and broader workforce operations. This role will serve as a key onsite HR resource supporting payroll processing, HRIS administration, employee relations, onboarding, workforce communication, HR administration, and day-to-day workforce support within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This position plays a critical role in supporting payroll accuracy, timekeeping administration, employee data integrity, HR operational processes, and employee support functions across the Easton operation.

The HR Operations Generalist will collaborate closely with HR leadership and operational management to support workforce initiatives, maintain HR compliance, improve employee experience, and strengthen operational effectiveness throughout the organization.

This is a hands-on HR role requiring strong interpersonal skills, urgency, professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively support a bilingual workforce population in a manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

HR Operations & Administration

Support daily HR operations across the Easton facility and designated workforce groups
Coordinate and conduct new hire onboarding and orientation
Maintain employee personnel files and HR documentation
Support HR compliance administration and recordkeeping
Assist with leave administration, including FMLA and leave tracking
Support HR reporting, workforce data tracking, and administrative process improvements
Assist with employee engagement, recognition, and workforce communication initiatives

Payroll & HRIS Administration

Process and audit payroll data for accuracy and compliance
Support payroll processing activities utilizing the organization’s payroll/timekeeping systems
Manage timekeeping administration, corrections, approvals, attendance tracking, and payroll follow-up
Assist employees with payroll-related questions and issue resolution
Maintain employee data integrity within HRIS and payroll systems
Serve as a key HRIS/payroll system resource for employees and supervisors
Support payroll reporting, auditing, reconciliation, and process improvement activities
Coordinate employee status changes and payroll-related system updates
Collaborate closely with HR leadership regarding payroll processing, benefits administration, HR systems, and workforce administration

Employee Relations & Workforce Support

Serve as a frontline HR resource for employees and supervisors
Support coaching, counseling, corrective action, and employee relations discussions
Assist supervisors with policy interpretation and workforce management issues
Conduct attendance-related communication and employee follow-up
Support workplace investigations and documentation preparation
Promote a positive, professional, and team-oriented workplace culture
Provide consistent HR visibility and employee support throughout the facility

Recruiting & Staffing Support

Coordinate recruiting activities including job postings, interview scheduling, and candidate communication
Support pre-employment activities including background checks, employment verifications, and onboarding documentation
Coordinate with staffing agencies regarding temporary workforce needs
Assist with employee referral and recruiting initiatives

Workforce Communication & Training

Provide Spanish/English translation and communication support
Assist with policy, safety, and workforce communication initiatives
Support training coordination and employee development activities
Assist with supervisor and employee communication follow-up

Qualifications

Bilingual English/Spanish required
Minimum 3–5 years of progressive HR Generalist experience, preferably within manufacturing or operations environments
Strong hands-on payroll processing and timekeeping administration experience required
Strong HRIS and payroll systems experience required, preferably with Payright, UKG, ADP, Paylocity, or similar platforms
Experience processing payroll in a multi-shift, manufacturing, or high-volume workforce environment strongly preferred
Strong employee relations and communication skills
Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information appropriately
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage competing deadlines
Strong attention to detail and commitment to payroll/data accuracy
Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook

Preferred Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess a strong HR Generalist foundation combined with hands-on payroll, HRIS, and workforce administration experience. This role requires someone who is highly organized, operationally focused, responsive, and comfortable balancing employee support with detailed administrative and payroll responsibilities.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
SHRM-CP, PHR, or related certification is a plus

Work Environment

Full-time onsite position
Manufacturing environment with regular interaction with employees, supervisors, staffing agencies, and operational leadership
High employee interaction and visibility requiring flexibility, responsiveness, professionalism, and urgency
Ability to move throughout manufacturing and warehouse environments as needed

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
