About Us

Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Sous Chef to support and assist in leading our kitchen operations. This role requires strong culinary skills, leadership ability, and a commitment to maintaining excellence in execution and team performance. The ideal candidate will have a fine dining background, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a passion for quality and consistency.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring consistency, presentation, and quality standards
Support the Executive Chef in menu execution, recipe development, and seasonal updates
Lead, train, and mentor line cooks and kitchen staff to maintain a professional and collaborative environment
Ensure all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards are consistently upheld
Help manage inventory, ordering, prep levels, and food cost controls
Maintain organization and efficiency during service while ensuring timely ticket execution
Collaborate with front-of-house leadership to support an exceptional guest experience
Step into leadership responsibilities in the Executive Chef’s absence

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Sous Chef or strong experience as a Lead Line Cook in a fine dining environment
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, plating, and ingredient handling
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
Understanding of food cost control, inventory management, and kitchen systems
Passion for hospitality, teamwork, and culinary excellence
Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
