Full Job Description

Another Broken Egg Cafe is Hiring a To-Go Specialist at our downtown Gregory Street location. Hourly pay plus tips!

Established in 1996, Another Broken Egg isn't your typical breakfast, brunch and lunch place. Our menu is second-to-none, loaded with fresh ingredients and creative recipes across a wide variety of breakfast classics, memorable brunch dishes, and lunchtime favorites. Each location is designed to feel like a casual getaway with a generous side of family, friends, and friendly service. Much of our success can be linked to our philosophy that "Nothing Short of Right is Right”. Each restaurant is managed by hands-on owners who believe that every detail is important to make the customer happy.

Summary of Responsibilities

To-Go Specialists serve as a liaison between cooks and “To Go” customers to maintain order efficiency through accurate and timely preparation and delivery. To Go Specialists are the last line of “defense” to ensure food is properly prepared and is pleasing to the eye. Remember guests are expecting the best; you are that important link in the chain that can make it happen!

Primary Responsibilities:

To-Go Specialists must report to work on time, properly dressed to deliver food to customers.
Have a pleasant and quick smile; treat everyone with respect & kindness.
Uphold and maintain high quality customer service and hospitality at all times.
Professional phone skills.
Ability to effectively communicate and obtain problem solving skills.
Check and ensure your “area” is fully stocked and ample back-up is available.
Ensure back up prep has been completed and replenish supplies.
Promptly and neatly apply garnishes and condiments to completed meals.
Verify all meals are complete according to ticket.
Maintain a clean and presentable work area.
Re-stock during slow periods, stay prepared for the big slams!
Assist Kitchen Expeditor as needed.
Serve as a food runner when time permits.

Closing Responsibilities:

To-Go Specialist s will be responsible for collecting trash, consolidating bags & re-bagging all trash receptacles.
Clean and wipe down countertops, walls & equipment.
Breakdown & clean conveyor toaster after turning off.
Wipe down all shelves & organize all products.
Re-stock area with product to ensure next morning shift success.
Thoroughly wipe down interior and exterior of microwave oven.
Organize bread rack and seal all open bread packages.
Scrub down & clean all food carrier trays thoroughly.
Properly clean wooden floor racks each day according to standards.
