Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Cook Cashier to join our culinary team. This role combines food preparation and cooking with customer service responsibilities, ensuring a high-quality dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent culinary skills, and the ability to manage cashier duties efficiently. Prior experience in the food industry, including restaurant or catering environments, is highly valued. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic setting where culinary expertise and exceptional service are prioritized.

Duties

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring food quality and presentation.
Handle food safely and maintain proper food handling procedures at all times.
Assist with menu planning and meal preparation for various dining occasions.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, utilizing knife skills and other culinary techniques.
Serve customers in a friendly, professional manner, taking orders accurately and delivering meals promptly.
Manage cashier responsibilities, including processing transactions accurately and providing excellent customer service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas in compliance with health regulations.
Support catering events or special functions as needed, ensuring smooth operation from setup to cleanup.

Requirements

Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or catering environments is preferred.
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
Culinary experience including meal preparation, cooking, and knife skills.
Familiarity with menu planning and food presentation techniques.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle transactions accurately as a cashier.
Experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is a plus.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation.
