Full Job Description

Position Summary

Precision Garage Door Service is seeking an organized, resourceful Construction Project Coordinator to support garage-door projects across multiple markets from order through installation completion.

This is a hands-on operations position combining project coordination, customer service, scheduling, documentation, and administrative support. The Project Coordinator will communicate with customers, sales representatives, technicians, installers, vendors, and company leadership to keep projects moving and help ensure that required information, materials, scheduling steps, and customer follow-up are completed.

The position will initially focus on residential projects and expand into commercial project coordination after training. This role does not supervise employees but is expected to take ownership of assigned workflows, identify incomplete or stalled items, and follow through until the appropriate action or handoff is completed.

Essential Responsibilities

Coordinate assigned garage-door projects from order through installation completion.
Track project status, required documentation, material information, scheduling needs, and outstanding next steps.
Communicate professionally with customers regarding project status, scheduling, material updates, and routine questions.
Answer/Place a high volume of telephone calls and assist or route customers appropriately.
Coordinate with sales representatives, technicians, installers, vendors, HUB personnel, and market leadership.
Review project and customer information for completeness and follow up on missing details.
Help schedule service appointments, installations, customer follow-ups, and other project-related activities.
Maintain accurate notes, records, due dates, and status updates in company systems.
Monitor assigned workflows for overdue, incomplete, or stalled items and take appropriate follow-up action.
Research customer and project history before providing information or escalating an issue.
Confirm that important handoffs have a clear next owner and required follow-up.
Assist with customer documents, estimates, electronic signatures, order information, and related administrative processes.
Help maintain continuity between shifts by documenting unresolved matters and required next steps.
Escalate pricing exceptions, refunds, warranty determinations, technical matters, customer concessions, and other decisions requiring management approval.
Learn and provide coverage for additional HUB functions as training and demonstrated competency progress.
Oversee vendor programs and projects (Lowe's/HD etc.)
Support residential projects initially and commercial projects after completing the required training.
Perform other related project-coordination and office-support duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Previous experience supporting construction, installation, home services, property management, real estate operations, or another project-driven service environment.
Experience coordinating multiple customers, projects, work orders, installations, or deadlines at the same time.
Strong customer-service and telephone communication skills.
Strong organization, documentation, follow-up, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to identify missing information and work with the appropriate person to resolve it.
Ability to learn detailed workflows, products, terminology, and software systems.
Ability to shift priorities while maintaining accuracy and professional customer communication.
Comfortable performing both administrative tasks and higher-level workflow coordination.
Dependable attendance and the ability to work on-site in Pensacola.
Availability to work the regular Monday-through-Friday schedule and weekends when operationally needed.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with garage doors, construction materials, installation scheduling, or residential home services.
Experience in a centralized customer-service, dispatch, scheduling, or service-operations environment.
Familiarity with ServiceTitan, Trello, or comparable field-service and workflow-management platforms.
Experience working with sales teams, field technicians, installers, vendors, and customers.
Experience tracking materials, customer documents, project milestones, or installation readiness across multiple locations.

Position Structure

This is a full-time, hourly position based primarily at the Pensacola HUB. The regular schedule is Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with weekend availability as operationally needed.

The position reports directly to the HUB Manager and works collaboratively with company and market leadership. It does not have employee-supervision responsibilities.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
