Job Title: Business Systems Analyst (Business Process & CPQ Implementation)

Location: Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid - 3 days onsite / 2 days remote)

Schedule: Monday-Friday | Full-Time

Contract Duration: W2 Approx 12 Months

Hourly Pay: $60.00-$72.00/hr DOE

Position Overview

We're looking for an experienced Business Systems Analyst to support a large-scale enterprise CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) implementation. This role will partner closely with business stakeholders, IT, project teams, and third-party vendors to gather requirements, improve business processes, and help deliver a new enterprise quoting solution.

This is a highly collaborative role focused on understanding how the business operates, documenting requirements, supporting system design, and ensuring solutions are thoroughly tested before implementation. If you enjoy working directly with stakeholders, solving complex business problems, and driving enterprise system improvements, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
Translate business needs into functional requirements for technical teams and implementation partners.
Develop business specifications, user stories, process documentation, and workflow maps.
Facilitate requirement gathering sessions and business process reviews.
Review functional designs to ensure solutions align with business objectives.
Support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and business validation activities.
Create and execute test scenarios while tracking issues through resolution.
Validate end-to-end business processes and recommend process improvements.
Work closely with business users, IT, project managers, and third-party vendors throughout the implementation.
Provide regular updates on project deliverables, risks, and progress.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of Business Systems Analyst or Business Analyst experience supporting enterprise applications.
Strong experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
Experience translating business needs into functional specifications.
Strong business process analysis and process mapping skills.
Experience supporting enterprise software implementations.
Hands-on experience with SIT, UAT, and business validation testing.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project environments.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting Quote-to-Cash or quoting business processes.
Exposure to CPQ platforms or enterprise quoting systems.
SAP ERP experience.
Experience creating user stories and workflow documentation.
Experience working with cross-functional business and IT teams.
