Department/Program Development and Coordination (Delivery of Quality Service)
1. As a mandated reporter, ensure all allegations of abuse and neglect are reported as required.
2. Ensure compliance with all HIPAA and confidentiality requirements.
3. Complete all mandatory documentation accurately, honestly, and on time.
4. To verify and ensure your payroll timecard is accurate by Monday before noon for the previous week worked.
5. Need to complete all required training within 120 days of initial employment and stay in compliance with all the required annual training refreshers.
6. Deliver engaging, inclusive training for diverse adult learners, with an emphasis on respect, dignity, and person-centered practices.
7. Facilitate and support the onboarding and orientation process to promote a positive, engaging, and mission-aligned experience for new employees.
8. Maintain training trackers, rosters, and certification records to ensure compliance with all regulations and standards, ensuring complete, accurate training documentation is collected, filed, and audit ready.
9. Coordinate and schedule training sessions, including room reservations and preparation of training materials and space.
10. Communicate effectively with departments to provide reminders and updates regarding upcoming training.
11. Support the development and refinement of training materials to close skill gaps and align with evolving best practices in supporting individuals with I/DD.
12. Ability to be a qualified Master trainer and willing to step in and support all EP!C staff training.
Perform Other Duties as Assigned

Education/Experience Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree in education or human services, organizational development, or business with a concentration in human resources required.
2. One year of experience with people with developmental disabilities.
3. 1-2 years’ experience in training development/delivery preferred.
4. An equivalent combination of education and experience with adult learners may be considered.

7. Proficiency with training platforms, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and software tools (experience with Relias and/or UKG is a plus).

Physical Requirements

The Training Coordinator is responsible for supporting and enhancing the training and onboarding experience for all employees at EP!C. This position plays a critical role in creating a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive culture for new hires while ensuring all training meets regulatory and accreditation standards. The Training Coordinator helps foster a positive learning environment aligned with EP!C’s mission to empower people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), in compliance with the standards set by the Council on Quality and Leadership (CQL) and the State of Illinois.
The Training Coordinator will evaluate training needs, supporting curriculum development, managing training schedules, coordinating with instructors, maintaining compliance documentation, and delivering training as needed. The Training Coordinator also evaluates training effectiveness to ensure employees gain the necessary skills to support people with I/DD while meeting agency expectations and state-mandated requirements.
