Full Job Description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION

The Peoria Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, or Discover Peoria, is seeking an Office Manager dedicated to growing their skills while also making an impact on our team. The candidate will serve as the first impression for our organization. Responsible for greeting customers and clients at our office and professionally fielding phone calls. We are seeking a passionate and hardworking person with a positive attitude who is ready to fully utilize their skills within our destination.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Be a positive influence and advocate the PACVB mission, values and passion
Pleasantly greet guests and provide outstanding customer service
Answer incoming calls, promptly retrieve and deliver messages, etc.
Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail
Order office supplies as needed within budget
Maintain calendar and submit expense reports for President/CEO
Record minutes at Board of Directors meetings and staff meetings
Monthly Board Report coordination
Monthly Tourism Reserve Fund application coordination
Monthly creation of CEO newsletter sent to various local stakeholders within Constant Contact
Responsible for accounting activities including accounts payable and accounts receivable
Work collaboratively with Sales and Marketing Departments to fulfill their billing and invoicing needs
Manage expense reporting
Monthly generation of select financial reports
Maintain administrative and accounting files
Assist in annual audit
Coordinate yearly giftings for holidays and/or special donation requests
All other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

At least 3 years related experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
QuickBooks on-line experience required
Proficient telephone demeanor
Skillful in Google Workspace and Microsoft Suite
High attention to detail and organizational skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
