Licensed Insurance Producer – Build Your Business in Central Illinois

Remote | Effingham & Central Illinois | Illinois P&C License Required

You already know people. Business owners. Families. Farmers. Contractors. Friends. Former clients. People you went to school with. People you see at ballgames, church, restaurants, and around town.

The Youngblood Group is expanding our independent insurance presence in Effingham and Central Illinois, and we're looking for an experienced insurance professional who wants to help us build it.

This isn't about sitting at home waiting for the phone to ring.

It's about becoming our person in Central Illinois.

People want to do business with people they know and trust. But relationships only get you so far if you don't have competitive options when it's time to quote.

The Youngblood Group provides access to 30+ personal and commercial insurance carriers, along with the technology and infrastructure of an established independent agency.

You bring your local knowledge, relationships, and willingness to create opportunities.

WE'RE NOT LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO "WORK LEADS."

We're looking for someone who can build relationships and create business.

Someone who isn't afraid to pick up the phone. Someone who asks for the referral. Someone who knows local business owners. Someone who understands that the best insurance book isn't built overnight — it's built one relationship at a time.

If you've spent years in insurance, you probably already have more opportunity around you than you realize.

We want to help you turn that opportunity into a book of business.

THIS COULD BE A GREAT FIT IF YOU...

Currently work for a captive insurance agency and want more options
Previously worked for an insurance company or agency and miss the business
Are a licensed CSR or account manager who knows you could produce
Have established relationships throughout Effingham or Central Illinois
Want flexibility without having to start your own agency
Are comfortable creating your own activity instead of waiting for it to be handed to you

WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

Your primary job is simple:

Create opportunities and turn them into clients.

That includes prospecting, networking, developing referral sources, quoting new business, following up consistently, and maintaining the relationships you build.

Personal lines will be an important part of the role, with significant opportunity to develop commercial relationships as well.

WHAT CAN THIS BECOME?

We're not looking to fill a seat.

We're looking for someone who wants to build something.

Your compensation grows with your production, with competitive new-business compensation, renewal compensation beginning in Year 2, and additional opportunities tied to growth.

For the right person, there is also an opportunity to take on greater responsibility as we continue expanding throughout Central Illinois.

REQUIREMENTS

Active Illinois Property & Casualty license
Previous insurance experience
Located in or connected to Effingham/Central Illinois
Strong local relationship-building skills
Comfortable prospecting and asking for business
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Professional and trustworthy
