Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Director to lead our sales team and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in custom engineered capital equipment sales, with a proven track record in business development and account management. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, the ability to negotiate effectively, and a passion for achieving sales targets. As the Sales Director, you will be responsible for developing strategic sales plans, managing key client relationships, and expanding our market presence.

Duties

Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company objectives and drive revenue growth.
Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to ensure high performance and professional development.
Identify new business opportunities through market research and analysis of industry trends.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to maximize profitability while meeting their needs.
Collaborate with marketing teams to align sales strategies with promotional efforts.
Utilize Salesforce for tracking sales activities, managing customer relationships, and reporting on performance metrics.
Monitor competitor activities and market trends to inform strategic decisions.

Experience

Proven experience in a sales leadership role, preferably within the OEM capital equipment sector.
Strong background in account management and business development.
Demonstrated success in outside sales with a focus on achieving targets.
Proficiency in using Salesforce or similar CRM tools for managing client interactions and sales processes.
Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Strong analytical skills to assess market conditions and identify growth opportunities.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present ideas clearly.
