Full Job Description

HYE Precision Products is a precision manufacturing company that specializes in designing and fabricating tooling and machinery for automation for commercial customers.

HYE is currently seeking a CNC Programmer/Operator. Experience or technical college certification (or a combination of both) is required for this position, but training will be provided. Key responsibilities will include three and five-axis CNC programming; machine set-up, operation and inspection; and assisting other machine operators. Our candidate should possess a strong ability to contribute value and expertise to support a CNC machine shop.

A company sponsored benefits package includes medical and dental coverage for full-time employees and their dependents. Life insurance and short/long term disability coverage is also offered as a paid benefit by the company. Paid vacation and paid holidays are included for employees after six months of continuous employment.

Schedule:

10 hour shifts Monday - Thursday
Overtime opportunity likely – most Fridays, some Saturdays

Education:

High school or equivalent
Technical college degree or certificate program in CNC Programming or related field of study (Preferred)

Experience:

Work in a manufacturing environment with concentration in CNC programming: 3 years (Preferred)

Work Location:

One location – located in Perry, in the heart of middle Georgia; quick access to Interstate 75

Skills/Requirements:

Ability to self-task well but also work well with team members
Adherence to safety protocols and procedures
Willingness to occasionally travel for field service projects
Ability to communicate professionally both in written and verbal communication

Qualifications:

To qualify, our candidate should possess a combination of education, experience and skill set. The following are examples of qualities that would be contributory to this position:

Proficiency in machining processes
Proficiency in at least one CNC programming software
Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
Strong mechanical aptitude and analytical problem solving ability
