About the Role
We are seeking detail-oriented, hardworking Cannabis Manufacturing Technicians to join our team across multiple departments. These are hands-on production roles suited for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, regulated manufacturing environment and take pride in consistent, quality workmanship. Openings exist in Packaging, Processing, Cultivation, and Trim - candidates may be considered for one or more departments based on experience and operational needs.
Core Responsibilities — All Departments
- Adhere strictly to state cannabis regulations, SOPs, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) at all times
- Maintain accurate batch records, logs, and production documentation using seed-to-sale tracking software (e.g., METRC)
- Keep workstations, equipment, and shared spaces clean and organized per sanitation protocols
- Wear required PPE and follow all facility safety and compliance policies
- Meet daily production quotas while maintaining quality standards
- Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding workflow, yields, and any product or equipment issues
- Participate in inventory counts as needed
Department-Specific Responsibilities
Packaging
- Weigh, fill, label, and seal cannabis products (flower, pre-rolls, edibles, concentrates, etc.) to exact specifications
- Operate packaging equipment including scales, labelers, heat sealers, and filling machines
- Verify label compliance including net weight, lot numbers, and required state disclosures
- Inspect finished goods for quality defects prior to release
- Maintain packaging material inventory and report shortages
Processing
- Assist in the extraction, infusion, and post-processing of cannabis concentrates and infused products
- Operate processing equipment such as rotary evaporators, vacuum ovens, and distillation units under supervision
- Measure and document inputs and outputs for each batch accurately
- Follow SOPs for handling solvents, CO₂, ethanol, or other processing agents safely
- Maintain a clean room or controlled environment as required
Cultivation
- Perform plant care tasks including watering, feeding, defoliating, topping, and low-stress training (LST)
- Monitor plant health and environmental conditions (pH, EC, humidity, temperature, VPD); report anomalies promptly
- Assist with propagation, transplanting, and room transitions (veg to flower)
- Identify and report signs of pests, disease, nutrient deficiencies, or irrigation issues
- Support harvest activities including cutting, hanging, and weighing
Trim
- Hand-trim or operate machine-assist trimming of harvested cannabis flower to quality standards
- Separate and collect trim, stems, and other byproduct for further processing
- Weigh and log wet and dry weights accurately at each stage
- Maintain proper curing and drying room conditions as directed
- Assist with bucking, sorting, and post-harvest cleanup
Qualifications
Required:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid state-issued ID
- Ability to pass a background check per state cannabis licensing requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods (6–10 hours) and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
Preferred:
- 6+ months experience in cannabis production, manufacturing, agriculture, or food production
- Familiarity with METRC or other seed-to-sale tracking software
- Knowledge of cannabis plant biology, extraction methods, or GMP/food safety principles
Work Environment
This role involves working in a controlled indoor facility. Depending on department, conditions may include exposure to strong odors, cold or warm temperatures, loud equipment, chemical agents (Processing), or extended periods of fine motor work (Trim/Packaging).
