Job Summary

A well-established insurance brokerage in San Rafael, CA is seeking an experienced Account Manager specializing in Employee Benefits to join its growing client service team. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a proactive benefits professional who enjoys managing client relationships, supporting small group accounts, and delivering consultative service throughout the renewal and open enrollment process. Remote work with ability to drive to San Francisco, Marin, East Bay and on occaision Santa Rosa. Must be bilingual Spanish/ English

The Account Manager will work in a collaborative, client-focused environment with supportive leadership, a professional team culture, and the opportunity to build long-term relationships with a diverse client portfolio. This role offers stability, meaningful client impact, and continued career growth within the employee benefits and insurance industry.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a book of small group employee benefits clients and serve as the primary point of contact for questions, renewals, and benefit administration.
Coordinate carrier marketing, renewal strategy, proposals, plan comparisons, and client presentations.
Lead open enrollment and new hire benefit meetings both virtually and in person.
Resolve claims, billing, eligibility, enrollment, and carrier-related service issues.
Maintain accurate client records and benefit data in systems such as Ease, Employee Navigator, Salesforce, and related platforms.
Support compliance with ACA, HIPAA, ERISA, and California insurance regulations.
Must be bilingual Spanish/ English

Compensation and Benefits

Salary range: $90,000 to $130,000 per year.
Job type: Direct hire.
Location: San Rafael, CA.
