Your Gap Year Can Be More Than a Resume Builder. It can be the year that confirms you're meant to practice medicine.
If you're the kind of person who color-codes your notes, enjoys solving complex problems, catches details everyone else misses, and thrives when every minute has a purpose, you'll probably love it here.
Rogers Dermatology isn't looking for someone to simply room patients. We're looking for a future physician or PA who wants to think critically, learn relentlessly, and become an indispensable part of a high-performing medical team.
You'll work side-by-side with physicians every day, documenting patient encounters in real time, assisting with surgical procedures, administering injections, processing biopsies, managing clinic flow, and learning the pace, precision, and accountability that medicine demands.
Every decision matters. Every detail matters. Every patient matters.
The Right Person...

· Can keep five things moving without dropping one.
· Notices the typo, catches the missing biopsy label, and asks thoughtful questions.
· Wants constructive feedback because getting better matters.

You'll leave with skills that can't be learned in a classroom. We Think Like a Team.
We're looking for someone who takes ownership, communicates openly, supports their teammates, and genuinely cares about doing things the right way.
Who We're Looking For
· You're pursuing an MD, DO, or PA program.
· You enjoy being challenged.
· You learn quickly.
