Positions:
We are looking for individuals who will provide a nurturing and safe learning environment for the children at our center. A candidate must have knowledge in the Early Childhood field and understand the development of children and how to interact with them in a fun and positive way. We recommend candidates to have at least CDA or Associates in Early Childhood or a related field for our Assistant Teacher position, or you can be working on your classes for your degree. For our Infant and Toddler assistant positions, you must take the Infant Toddler class through MiRegistry per licensing requirements to begin the position. We have one Assistant Teacher position opening in our infant classroom -ages 4 weeks through 13 months and our young toddler classroom- 13 months through 22 months These positions are year round and full time, we are flexible for those currently taking classes toward your degree. We also have our After School Lead teacher position open, the position is full time as a floater that works with all ages in the center during the day and then is in our school aged classroom after school and on school breaks.
Qualifications:
Nurturing, friendly and reliable
Knowlegde of child development and behavior management
Track children's progress and communicate with their parents
Work together with your teaching team
Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards
Excellent communication and instructional skills
Use opened ended art projects to develop children's creativity and self esteem
Must get a background check
Pay is dependent on education and experience: starts at $15.50
