What You’ll Do:
● Build, shape, and maintain high-precision tools, dies, and fixtures.
● Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to construct new machine parts.
● Repair and troubleshoot molds, jigs, and fixtures as needed.
● Inspect tools for accuracy and durability, ensuring top performance.
● Maintain a safe and organized workspace while collaborating with engineers and machinists.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience:
● 3+ years in machining (Required)
● 1+ year in tooling (Preferred)
Skills & Qualifications:
● Proficiency in CAD software for designing and modifying tools.
● Skilled in the use of traditional tool room hand tools such as files, scrapers, and grinders to final fit or repair tooling to standards in an efficient manner.
● Ability to analyze measured prints and construct tooling, punches, pins, die sections, etc.
● Ability to operate all standard tool room equipment such as lathes, mills, grinders, N.C. machines, drills, shapers, EDM, TIG welding, etc.
● Working understanding of geometry, trigonometry, and algebra.
Physical Requirements:
● Ability to stand for long periods during shifts.
● Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
