Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting various accounting functions. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP, as well as proficiency in relevant software systems.

Responsibilities

Perform accounts receivable tasks, including invoicing and payment processing.
Maintain accurate records of financial transactions using double entry bookkeeping.
Conduct account analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Assist in the preparation of general ledger accounting entries and reconciliations.
Support budgeting processes by providing necessary financial data and reports.
Utilize accounting software such as Ceridian and UltiPro for efficient transaction management.
Ensure adherence to GAAP standards in all accounting activities.
Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Experience

Previous experience in an accounting role is preferred, with a focus on accounts receivable and general ledger accounting.
Familiarity with budgeting processes and account analysis practices is advantageous.
Knowledge of accounting software such as Ceridian or UltiPro is a plus.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
