This is an in-office position at our address: 1430 E Moreland Blvd, Waukesha, WI
Pay based on qualifications.

Responsibilities

Connect clients with sales and leads by creating compelling copy with strong CTAs
Work with SEO experts and win in SERPs
Generate creative web content including blog articles, service pages, product descriptions, email blasts and more using SEO best practices
Follow iNET writing style and use client-specific voices
Persuasive, educational and inspiring writing
Contribute copy expertise to client meetings
Collaborate with copy team and Project Manager + SEO, design, development and sales teams to ensure project success

Requirements

Excellent writer who produces clear, concise and thoughtful work
Able to seamlessly integrate research and topic knowledge into SEO-focused writing
Meticulous about checking work for spelling and grammatical errors
Familiar with Google Docs and Microsoft Office
Comfortable writing for B2B and B2C clients
Team player with a positive attitude

As a senior copywriter, work an SEO department of appoximately 16 people, 3-5 of which have a copywriting concentration. The whole iNET team is approximately 45-55 copywriters, digital marketers, graphic designers, videographers, front-end developers, and programmers to fulfill our mission: Improving the Economy One Business at a Time™ with Profit Generating Websites™. Go capitalism! Our team also has server admins and a few onsite technicians who double as in-house IT of 4 people. . We grew up on a lot of direct-with-proprietor small business relationships back before website marketing was even a thing. Now a full-service marketing agency, we place more radio and podcast ads than anyone in Wisconsin. As our clients continue to grow, we now collaborate with robust and digitally literate in-house teams. The next phase in our growth is all about ownership mindset and culture fit. That means you: a self-starter who loves interacting daily with successful clients and colleagues. On a given project you are likely to have to balance intentions of 1) design 2) client wishes and specific knowledge 3) SEO team keyword mapping intentions and 4) helping the website reader understand that our client's offering is the best value. Ideal candidates will proactively troubleshoot, improvise, and approach every problem with "here are 2 options I might try to handle this" while they consensus build with stakeholders. Join up!
