Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Texas Attorney specializing in Probate, Estate Planning, and Transactional Law to join our vibrant legal team. In this role, you will provide expert legal guidance on estate and trust administration, develop comprehensive estate plans, and handle a variety of transactional matters. Your proactive approach will ensure clients receive clear, effective solutions tailored to their unique needs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working in a collaborative and fast-paced, fully remote environment.

Duties

Draft and review estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance directives to ensure clarity and legal compliance.
Manage probate proceedings from initiation through completion, including estate administration and trust settlement processes.
Draft transactional agreements related to real estate, business transactions, and other legal arrangements.
Conduct thorough legal research using tools like LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies and ensure up-to-date legal compliance across diverse practice areas including environmental law, family law, securities law, tribal law & regulations, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, immigration law, landlord-tenant law, patent law, and litigation.
Collaborate with colleagues on complex cases involving multiple legal disciplines such as securities law or environmental regulations.
Maintain accurate case files and prepare detailed reports for clients and internal documentation purposes.

Requirements

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with active license to practice in Texas.
Proven experience in estate planning, probate administration, and transactional law with a strong understanding of relevant legal procedures.
Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft clear legal documents efficiently.
Strong negotiation skills with a track record of achieving favorable outcomes for clients.
Familiarity with a broad range of practice areas such as environmental law, family law, securities law, tribal law & regulations, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, immigration law, landlord-tenant law, patent law, litigation processes, and related fields is highly desirable.
Prior experience working in a busy law office environment with solid legal administrative skills.
Ability to analyze complex legal issues quickly while maintaining attention to detail.
