Administrative Technician JFK BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CENTER Philadelphia, PA, USA (On-Site)

POSITION OVERVIEW: The Administrative Technician serves as the primary clerical support for the VP of Behavioral Health for all tasks identified. This individual will:

Draft, edit, copy, scan, file, and maintain departmental documents, policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and records.

Prepare documents for mailings, meetings and other correspondence.

Use electronic health records to enter/retrieve information for clients and/or clinicians.

Professionally greet clients/visitors and answers inquiries regarding the types of services offered; in-person & via phone.

Monitor & report on clinician activities, gather data to assist with survey or census.

Provides client-focused clerical support & coverage as needed in other work units.

Are willing to learn and promote the quality-service philosophy of JFK Behavioral Health

Are equipped to interact with clients with varying degrees of intellectual & emotional capacity.

Can work collaboratively, able & willing to support the program’s needs.

Can comply with the procedures, rules, and policies of JFK Behavioral Health

Possess excellent verbal communication skills.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Post high-school degree or equivalent credit hours obtained.

3-5 years’ experience in an administrative capacity in a clinical healthcare setting.

Agility in using standard computer programs (MS Office, Outlook) and multi-line phone systems.

Intermediate grasp of the rules of writing & grammar.
