Your impact
At Jacobs, we're challenging today to reinvent tomorrow by delivering innovative, sustainable solutions for communities around the world. As a Landscape Architect , you'll contribute to impactful projects that integrate landscape architecture, urban design, planning, and architecture to create vibrant, functional environments for clients and stakeholders. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and our Global Integrated Delivery (GID) network to deliver high-quality project outcomes.
In this role, you'll lead and support landscape architecture and urban design projects from concept through construction. You'll develop creative design solutions, build strong client relationships, coordinate with consultants and regulatory agencies, and help ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget. Your work will directly contribute to shaping communities and advancing successful project outcomes.
What you'll do
Prepare plans, details, construction drawings, reports, and illustrative exhibits for landscape architecture and urban design projects
Develop conceptual designs, sketches, electronic models, diagrams, and other visual materials
Integrate planning, architectural, and landscape elements into cohesive design solutions
Lead and coordinate project team activities and provide guidance to less experienced team members
Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and client relationships
Coordinate with clients, consultants, and local governmental agencies throughout project delivery
Develop and oversee construction documents for projects of varying size and complexity
Conduct construction observation activities and support construction administration efforts
Attend workshops, site visits, and construction meetings and prepare sketches or drawing revisions as needed
Prepare monthly project billing and assist with contract preparation
Support business development activities and client engagement efforts
Perform project due diligence and research to support planning and design activities
Collaborate with Jacobs' Global Integrated Delivery teams to deliver integrated project solutions
Here's what you'll need
Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Landscape Architecture or a related field
5 years of detailed design and development of construction documents
3 years of work experience in Landscape Architecture and Urban Design or a related occupation
2 years of work experience with AutoCAD and BIM (Revit) and GIS programs
Ideally, you'll also have
Experience with 3D modeling using SketchUp or Rhinoceros
Experience creating renderings using Lumion or Twinmotion
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
Professional-quality hand graphics and drawing skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Experience supporting projects through construction observation and administration
Experience contributing to business development and proposal pursuits
Posted Salary Range: Minimum
91,400.00
Posted Salary Range: Upper
138,160.00

The base salary range for this position is $91,400.00 to $138,160.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
