CT Technologist Supervisor (Lead CT Tech)
Job Title: CT Technologist Supervisor (Lead CT Tech)
Location: Hunterdon County, NJ (On-site)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm

Overview
A relatively small, community-focused hospital in Hunterdon County, NJ is seeking a CT Technologist Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operations of the CT department while remaining hands-on in-patient care. This is a great opportunity for a strong CT Technologist ready to step into leadership—or an experienced lead/supervisor who enjoys leading a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

Supervise the daily operations of the CT department, ensuring safe, efficient workflow and excellent patient experience
Perform CT exams according to provider orders and established protocols
Coordinate staffing schedules and daily workflow to support patient throughput
Serve as a clinical mentor/resource for CT technologists; support coaching and performance standards
Assist with orientation, training, and ongoing competency development
Monitor image quality, patient safety, and radiation safety compliance
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nursing, and hospital leadership to optimize care and operations
Support quality improvement initiatives, accreditation readiness, and regulatory compliance
Troubleshoot CT equipment issues and coordinate service requests as needed
Help maintain/update departmental policies, procedures, and performance standards
Participate in departmental meetings and support process improvement initiatives

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
ARRT required
New Jersey State Radiologic Technologist License (or eligibility)
BLS required
2+ years CT technologist experience in an acute care setting (preferred)
Prior lead/charge/supervisory experience (preferred but not mandatory)
Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
