Key Functions:

Driven professional
Confident, self-starter who works well independently
Self-motivated and detail oriented
Solicits and writes new P&C policies from both inside and outside the dealership
Follows consistent sales process for all prospects for:
Quoting potential Insurance Customers
Sales tracking
Application completion for underwriting purposes
Follow-up (All outlined in Agency Procedure manual)
Maintains compliance guidelines and procedures in accordance with the Pennsylvania Department of Insurance
Maintains knowledge of new products
Develops agency relationship with existing customers
Meets the production requirements and goals
Manages prospecting campaign
Always portrays a professional image through proper appearance and action

Qualifications:

Motivated, Ambitious Sales Personality
Valid Insurance license required
3 years of sales Experience
Professional personal appearance
Excellent Communication skills

Duties

Engage with potential clients through outside sales efforts, including telemarketing and community outreach, to promote insurance products and services
Conduct detailed needs analysis to recommend appropriate insurance coverage options that align with client goals
Negotiate policy terms and pricing to secure the best outcomes for clients while meeting company standards
Manage sales administration tasks such as processing applications, updating client records, and maintaining accurate documentation
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, explaining policy details clearly, and guiding clients through the sales process
Collaborate with marketing teams to develop strategies for outreach campaigns and enhance brand visibility in diverse markets
Ensure compliance with industry regulations such as HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) when handling sensitive information

Experience

Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or insurance sales roles demonstrating strong negotiation and communication skills
Familiarity with sales administration processes and analysis skills to evaluate client needs effectively
Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively
Knowledge of marketing techniques and benefits administration enhances your ability to attract and retain clients
Prior experience in telemarketing or customer service roles is beneficial for engaging prospects confidently
Understanding of HIPAA regulations ensures compliance when managing health-related insurance policies
