Overview

Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Laborer and be a vital part of transforming blueprints into reality! This energetic role offers hands-on experience working on diverse construction projects, from residential renovations to commercial developments. As a Construction Laborer, you'll play a key role in supporting skilled tradespeople, handling materials, and ensuring safety standards are met. Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including unloading materials and organizing tools
Support carpenters, masons, and other trades by handling hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently
Perform heavy lifting tasks such as moving materials, concrete bags, rebar, and formwork components
Mix, pour, and finish concrete according to project specifications, including concrete pumping and screeding
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to assist with formwork construction, rebar installation, and masonry work
Operate basic machinery like concrete mixers and small power tools while adhering to safety protocols
Maintain a clean work environment by clearing debris, securing materials, and following site safety regulations at all times

Qualifications

Prior experience working on construction sites or in related roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction estimating are advantageous
Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations and proper use of hand tools and power tools
Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions
Basic carpentry skills such as framing, trim carpentry, or metal stud framing are a plus
Valid driver’s license for commercial driving or site transportation is desirable but not mandatory
