Full Job Description

Commercial Roofing Sales Representative & Estimator

Arizona Roofers is hiring an experienced Commercial Roofing Sales Representative & Estimator to help grow our commercial roofing division.

This is a base salary plus commission position for someone who already has commercial roofing experience, roofing knowledge, and estimating experience. This is not an entry-level role.

The ideal candidate can generate commercial opportunities, manage our inbound commercial leads, read plans and specifications, estimate projects, submit bids, build relationships, and help close profitable commercial roofing work.

We are actively growing our commercial division, and this is a strong opportunity for someone who wants to earn a great living, grow with a company, and be part of building something long-term.

Responsibilities

Generate commercial roofing opportunities through bidding platforms, plan rooms, GC portals, networking, referrals, and relationship building.
Manage inbound commercial leads from company marketing channels.
Build relationships with general contractors, property managers, developers, HOAs, business owners, and commercial property owners.
Read architectural plans, roofing plans, scopes of work, specifications, and bid documents.
Perform takeoffs and prepare accurate commercial roofing estimates.
Submit bids, proposals, pricing, scopes, exclusions, and clarifications.
Conduct site visits, roof inspections, measurements, and project assessments.
Work with vendors, suppliers, subcontractors, contractors, and internal teams to gather pricing and support project execution.
Follow up consistently on bids, proposals, and open opportunities.
Coordinate with production and operations for proper project handoff.
Track leads, bids, estimates, follow-ups, and customer communication in the company CRM.

Requirements

Commercial roofing experience required.
Roofing estimating experience required.
Strong roofing knowledge required.
Ability to read plans, scopes, specifications, and bid documents.
Experience preparing commercial roofing estimates, takeoffs, proposals, and bids.
Knowledge of commercial roofing systems, materials, labor requirements, and installation methods.
Strong sales, communication, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
Ability to build long-term commercial relationships.
Comfortable using CRM systems, estimating software, email, spreadsheets, and online bidding platforms.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Experience

Experience working with general contractors, property managers, developers, HOAs, commercial property owners, or facility managers.
Experience with TPO, foam, coatings, modified bitumen, metal, tile, shingles, or other roofing systems.
Experience with Roofr, Xactimate, EagleView, CompanyCam, or similar tools.
Existing commercial roofing relationships or book of business is a plus.
