Position: Medical Assistant (Must be fluent in Spanish)

Location: Gilbert

Schedule: Monday - Friday (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)

Wage: Negotiable Depending on Experience

Phoenician Medical Center:

Established in 1999 Phoenician Medical has grown from a single primary provider to a multi specialty clinic with over 50 physicians and more than 400 employees. Our goal is to provide exceptional patient care and satisfaction. Our clinicians are some of the most well informed providers and staff in Arizona, all of which operate with professionalism, honor and genuine compassion for each and every patient.

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate for this position will have a passion for patient care. Our staff work as our providers' right hand and are assisting daily with any patient care needs which will be provided. This may include prepping of the patient charts, taking vitals, updating medical history, and more.

This position is great for hard workers who want to make a difference and gain additional skills and knowledge within the medical field directly from Doctors, Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.

All Medical Assistant applicants must submit both an updated resume and cover letter when applying for this position. The cover letter should include some information about yourself and any applicable details as to why you feel you are a good candidate for this position.

Basic Job Duties may include but not limited to

Rooming Patients
Taking Vitals
Prepping charts
Creating/Following up on Referrals
Accepting Incoming Patient Calls
Telephone Encounters
EHR Charting
Prepping/Sanitizing Exam Rooms

Preferred Skills Checklist:

1-2 Years EHR Experience
1+ Years experience in Neurology
Medical Terminology - Complete
Bilingual (Spanish)
