Parenting Time Case Aide – Maricopa County

Amazing Grace Arizona Families (AGAF) is seeking compassionate, dependable, and professional individuals to join our Parenting Time Services Team as a Parenting Time Case Aide serving families throughout Maricopa County.
This rewarding position supports the Arizona Department of Child Safety (ADCS) by facilitating safe, meaningful parenting time between children in out-of-home care and their parents. Position Summary
Parenting Time Case Aides provide transportation, supervision, and documentation for court-ordered parenting time visits. Case Aides play a critical role in supporting family reunification efforts by ensuring visits occur in a safe, supportive, and professional environment.
Visits may occur in family homes, community settings, DCS offices, visitation centers, or other approved locations throughout Maricopa County.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Transport children safely to and from parenting time visits using your personal vehicle.
- Supervise and facilitate parenting time sessions while maintaining a safe environment for all participants.
- Observe and document interactions objectively, accurately, and professionally.
- Ensure compliance with ADCS policies, agency procedures, and court requirements.
- Maintain appropriate professional boundaries with clients and families.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, DCS personnel, caregivers, and parents.
- Submit required documentation and visit reports within established timelines.
- Work independently while maintaining regular communication with agency leadership.
- Participate in required trainings, meetings, and supervision sessions.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid Arizona Driver License.
- Reliable, smoke-free vehicle with current registration and insurance.
- Clean 39-month driving history.
- No DUI/DWI convictions or at-fault accidents within the past 39 months.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Possess or obtain an Arizona Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification, or ability to obtain upon hire.
- Strong written communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Ability to complete all required ADCS Parenting Time Services training.
Preferred Qualifications
- One (1) year or more experience in:
- Child Welfare
- Social Services
- Behavioral Health
- Education
- Human Services
- Family Support Services
- Experience working with children, adolescents, and families.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) applicants are encouraged to apply.
Schedule
This position requires flexibility based on family and court schedules.
Availability preferred during:
- After-school hours
- Evenings
- Weekends
- School breaks and holidays when visits are scheduled
